About Korat Cat

Korat Cat is a cat breed native to Thailand that is considered a lucky cat. This shortcut cat traveled to the United States in 1959. Despite the passage of time, this cat remains true to its ancestral breed standards, and nothing has changed. These sweet cats are generally healthy and strong. However, they are susceptible to GM1 and GM2 gangliosidosis, a rare genetic condition that affects the nervous system.
